The victim, Petaru Gollapalli, left a suicide note blaming his wife for his death and alleging she wanted him dead. The couple had been married for two years but had lived separately for the past three months due to frequent quarrels. His wife had also filed for divorce and demanded Rs 20 lakhs as alimony. The victim's brother has filed a complaint against his wife, and police have registered a case under section 108 (abetment to suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Anandu Krishnan, a 26-year-old man, has been arrested for allegedly defrauding people of several crores by promising scooters, sewing machines, home appliances, and laptops at half price using fake CSR funds from major companies. The total fraud is estimated to be around Rs 600-700 crore.
